Daryle Singletary and the Kentucky Headhunters were on hand last Friday night (March 28) to help turkey hunters get ready for the start of the spring turkey hunting season when they headlined the annual TN Governor One-Shot Turkey Hunt kickoff concert.
Singletary, who is a big time turkey hunter, was excited for the opportunity to play some tunes and mingle with his fellow hunting pals that included singer/songwriter Bobby Pinson, former MLB star Ryan Klesko and many more.
"I always participate in the TN Governor One Shot Turkey Hunt, which included a Friday night kickoff show," Singletary tells Roughstock. "We had a ball, and then got up Saturday to a rough and tough day of opening spring turkey hunting action. But all in all, it was a great opening weekend around the TN Wildlife Resources Foundation put on another great event."
The Tennessee spring turkey season comes to a close on May 15, which means expect your favorite country stars' Facebook and Twitter pages to be loaded down with birds in the coming weeks!
