Lady Antebellum has made a huge return to the top, as they lock in the country singles chart No. 1 song this week with their smash "Compass." The latest trip to the top marks the trio's eighth No. 1 song of their career.

"When we got the news that ‘Compass’ was No. 1, we were ironically enough, on a 500 mile detour on the bus in Canada trying to avoid an avalanche,” laughs Lady A’s Hillary Scott. “The timing was actually really funny and fortunately we’re going to make it in plenty of time to see all our fans in Vancouver tonight. We’re so thankful for all our friends in radio, our record label but especially to all the fans that are on their feet each night when we start the show with this song.  The energy is infectious, and it sets the night off on an unbelievable course!"

Closing in on the No. 1 slot for the coming weeks include Dierks Bentley, who is at No. 3 with "I Hold On," Frankie Ballard with "Helluva Life" at No. 4 and Blake Shelton's "Doin' What She Likes" at No. 5. Others working their way up include Thompson Square ("Everything I Shouldn't Be Thinking About"), Randy Houser ("Goodnight Kiss"), Scotty McCreery ("See You Tonight"), Jerrod Niemann ("Drink to That All Night") and Eric Church ("Give Me Back My Hometown").
