As if being on national television isn't enough to get you shaken up, but throw music icon Bob Segar into the mix, and it's a whole new level of nerves.

Zach and Colton Swon -- better known as The Swon Brothers -- can testify that is a scary day when you have to perform in front of someone of Segar's level of fame when competing on NBC's The Voice.

"We thought we were going home every week," says Colton Swon. "It didn't matter. You couldn't have told us that we were going to make it to the finale. We never would have thought we had made it that far. The most nervous that we got was Bob Segar. I wouldn't trade anything for that moment with him. Singing with him ... that was pretty epic!"

But there were also very rewarding moments on the show as well. "Just getting that fan base out there is something we couldn't have asked for," notes Colton. "There are fans out there who are true Swon Brothers fans now, who blow us up on Twitter and come to shows. We are selling out places that we've never been. It's jsut really crazy, the amount of support and love that we got."

Oh, and then there is Voice coach Blake Shelton. "He's like a life-long friend now," smiles Colton. "He's a mentor still who is really in our corner."

The Swon Brothers' debut single, "Later On," is at radio now.
