Black River Entertainment recording artist Glen Templeton has claimed the number one spot on SiriusXM's The Highway Hot 45 LIVE for the second consecutive week with his current single "Ball Cap."

"Ball Cap" was written by Black River Publishing’s Forest Glen Whitehead, singer/songwriter Cassidy Lynn and Curb Records recording artist Dylan Scott. The single was produced by James Stroud, who is known for his work with Tim McGraw, Aaron Lewis and Clint Black.

Templeton chatted about the song on-air with SiriusXM's Storme Warren, who said, “That song is one of the catchiest, coolest, most fun songs. No wonder it went to number one!"

“What an honor to be the number one song, on The Highway,” Templeton says. “Man I can’t thank everybody enough who’s helped me along the way. I have a mile long list of people. One person in particular I need to thank is James Stroud. He has taken this song to a new level. We knew when we heard it, it was magic.”

The song has clearly struck a chord with fans, as "Ball Cap" has reached over 600,000 collective views on Youtube and has sold nearly 74,000 units since its September 24 digital release while receiving ample spins on SiriusXM's The Highway.
