Hunter Hayes Hits Number 1 with “Invisible” while Kacey Musgraves rockets to Number 2, both on the strength of their Grammy performances last week.
It only had mere hours to hit #7 last week and with a full seven days of tracking following Hunter Hayes performance of “Invisible” on the Grammy Awards, the song skyrocketed to #1 in Country Music and #17 all genre. His fellow Grammy performer, Kacey Musgraves scored 56k for her now 325k-selling single “Follow Your Arrow.” It’s one of two songs on the Top 30 this week as the Grammy Winning “Merry Go Round” hits #27 for Kacey this week. She’s sold 820k copies of the record. Eric Church’s third preview track from The Outsiders debuts at #3 with 50k sold while Brantley Gilbert surpasses 305k in just 7 weeks on the chart with “Bottoms Up.” The song was #5.
Keith Urban Jumps Into Top 10 with “Cop Car” while Tim McGraw debuts with divisive single “Lookin’ For That Girl.”
With sales of 42 (a gain of 20% over last week), Eric Church second single “Give Me Back My Hometown” in this week’s Top 10 leads off the #6-#10 slot. at #7 with a 77% gain thanks to a Grammy Awards performance slot, Keith Urban scores our “RISER OF THE WEEK” with “Cop Car.” The song has now sold 84k in 7 weeks on the chart and should prove to be a fast-seller like “We Were Us” was before it. at #8 is David Nail’s recent #1 hit single “Whatever’ She’s Got,” the lead single from I’m A Fire. Cole Swindell’s looking to release his self-titled debut album with Warner Music Nashville in a couple of weeks and the album’s lead single, “Chillin’ It” has now moved 789k to date and should end up over 1,000,000 tracks sold before moving on to single #2 from the album. Tim McGraw’s “Looking For That Girl” rounds out the Top 10 with sales of 31k in one week on the chart.
