Jake Owen to Headline Military Appreciation Day Ceremony in May

If one thing goes together like peas and carrots it's country music and the military. So, as such, it's no surprise that Platinum-selling "Beachin'" singer Jake Owen would choose to headline an event in May. Get the full scoop about the Military Appreciation Day Concert here!

Jake Owen is scheduled to perform at The Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in honor of Military Appreciation Day event taking place on Wednesday, May 7.

Owen’s performance will happen on the Clubhouse Lawn and conclude a day of special activities and programs that celebrate the men and women of the Armed Forces. 

"Performing for the military is always a true honor. I admire what these men and women do to serve our country and I can't wait to show my support," Owen said.

The Military Appreciation Day ceremony will also feature pageantry by military personnel and remarks by PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem, a player from the field (TBD) and additional high-profile speakers from the U.S. Military. 

Next month, Owen will launch his second headlining trek when he takes his Days of Gold Tour to 55 cities in the U.S. Joining Owen on select dates of the tour will be Eli Young Band, Parmalee, Thomas Rhett and The Cadillac Three.
