Brantley Gilbert’s “Bottom’s Up” Sits at #1 for the first time since being released. David Nail, Eric Church, Cole Swindell Join Top 5. Scotty McCreery scores “GOLD” with “See You Tonight”!
At #1 this week is Brantley Gilbert with the lead single from his as yet untitled third album for The Valory Music Co. “Bottoms Up” sold 49k more this week to bring sales to 354k in 8 weeks. David Nail’s current single from I’m A Fire sits at #2 with a 34% sales gain this week. He has now moved 863k copies of the track. at #3 is Luke Bryan’s “Drink A Beer,” the current Radio Airplay #1 hit. It’s sold 738k to date. Eric Church sits at #4 with “Give Me Back My Hometown” and he’s set to dominate this chart next week with The Outsiders now in stores and online. His self-titled debut album doesn’t hit stores til Next week but Cole Swindell placed three singles on this week’s chart, One inside the Top 5 (current hit “Chillin’ It”) one track in the Top 10 and another in the Top 30. He joins Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan as the only other artists to do that this week.
Cole Swindell “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” Debuts At #6, Latest single from labelmate Blake Shelton -- “Doin What She Likes” -- hits Top 10.
“Aint Worth The Whiskey” scored Cole Swindell 34k tracks sold (pre-orders for his Feb 18 album release on iTunes) and that allowed the rising star to place a second single in the Top 10, the only artist to do so this week. Keith Urban’s fast-rising new hit “Cop Car” sits at #7 while Blake Shelton’s latest single hits #8. at #9 is Jason Alden’s latest hit, the nearly Gold eligible “When She Says Baby.” Rounding out the Top 10 is Hunter Hayes’ lead single from his upcoming as yet untitled sophomore album, “Invisible”).
Scotty McCreery leads notables this week with “See You Tonight” now Gold-certification eligible.
This is the news Scotty fans have been waiting for. “See You Tonight sold just enough tracks to surpass the 500k mark last week, giving him his third Gold single out of four official radio singles. This week’s riser of the week is Eric Paslay’s nearly Gold #1 hit “Friday Night.” His album also debuted in the Top 10 on the Album chart this week. Cole Swindell’s third song on our rundown this week is “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight,” a single which is already picking up SiriusXM radio airplay. Eric Church’s “The Outsiders” single is now at 466k sold too, making it a sure bet to hit the Gold certification mark, which would be his 9th in a row to hit the mark (or better) since 2009.
