Another one of country music's most eligible bachelors is officially off the market.
Greg Bates announced through his social media sites this week that he became engaged to his girlfriend of two years, Shelley Skidmore.
The proposal took place this past Valentines Day at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Stanton, KY, the church that Skidmore grew up in. The couple is planning to take their walk down the aisle in May of next year.
The “Did It for the Girl” singer is currently working on new material and will be hitting the studio in April to work with Grammy winning producers Frank Rogers and Shane McAnally on the project.
