In the latest issue of Southern Living magazine, Nashville actress Hayden Panettiere opens up about residing in Music City for the show.
“Living in Nashville gives me a sense of normalcy that I wasn’t sure I was ever going to get back in my life,” she tells the magazine. “The people here are amazing… when I first got here, all my defenses were still up, and I was waiting for that world to suddenly creep back in. When it didn’t, I realized that I can live a normal life here with people who don’t judge you based on what you do or who you are in the public eye."
Panettiere also says that regardless of Nashville's future, she will always reside in Tennessee. "Even if something happens to the show, I know this is a place I want to call home,” she says.
The star of the hit ABC show is featured on the magazine's cover and first-ever flip issue of Southern Living. It marks the first time a celebrity has appeared on the cover in the brand’s 48-year history.
Panettiere's cover issue of Southern Living hit stands on February 21. The show that made the Actress a household name, NBC's Heroes, is set to come back in 2014/2015 season as a 13 episode 'mini-series.'
