Brantley Gilbert’s “Bottom’s Up” Sits at #1 for a second week. Cole Swindell “Chillin’ It” Top 10, “Cop Car” Rising!
At #1 this week is Brantley Gilbert with the lead single from his as yet untitled third album for The Valory Music Co. “Bottoms Up” sold another 64k to bring sales just 21k away from Gold. at #2 is Luke Bryan’s “Drink A Beer.” The song has now moved 831k to date. at #3 is Keith Urban with his latest hit “Cop Car.” #4 finds Florida Georgia Line with “This Is How We Roll,” the song -- co written with Cole Swindell and Luke Bryan -- also features Luke Bryan. It’s our riser of the week. While his other two pre-release tracks disappear from this chart (just like Eric Church’s pre-release tracks did last week, Cole Swindell sits at #5 with Chillin’ It, now just 73k away from Platinum while the song is #1 on radio airplay this week.
Eric Church returns to Top 10 with “Give Me Back My Hometown” while David Nail approaches Platinum and Thomas Rhett hits Top 10.
Eric Church’s second single “Give Me Back My Hometown” from The Outsiders sits at #6 this week while at #7 is Blake Shelton once again with “Doin’ What She Likes,” the latest hit off of Based On A True Story…. David Nail is at #8 with his Nearly-Platinum #1 radio airplay hit “Whatever She’s Got” while Thomas Rhett’s latest hit, “Get Me Some Of That” is also a Cole Swindell co-penned track. Jerrod Niemann rounds out the Top 10 with “Drink To That All Night,” still the fastest-rising hit of his career and all but a shoo-in for Gold. Its’ the lead single from his upcoming third album High Noon.
Scotty McCreery leads notables this week with “See You Tonight” now Gold-certification eligible.
Notable songs this week include the Nearly Gold-certified “Compass” and “Friday Night” from Lady Antebellum and Eric Paslay, respectfully while Brett Eldredge joins the top 30 with “Beat Of The Music” while Tim McGraq returns with “Lookin’ For That Girl”. A couple nearly Platinum tracks are of note, including Cassadee Pope’s “Wasting All These Tears,” Florida Georgia Line’s “Stay,” and Jason Aldean’s “Night Train.” Scotty McCreery continues to enjoy strong sales for the now officially-Certified GOLD single “See You Tonight” while we see newcomer Tyler Farr enter the chart with “Whiskey In My Water” for the first time.
