Hunter Hayes recently dropped a hint via Facebook that fans can soon expect to hear a follow-up to his platinum-selling Atlantic Records debut, revealing that he will be spending the next two months in the studio recording new material.
On Friday, January 3, Hayes shared the following message with his nearly 1.4 million Facebook fans:
"I can't tell you how good it feels to have two months of solid studio time on my schedule right in front of me. Thank Heavens! NEW MUSIC!!!"
That's all he's revealed for now, with further details on the project not yet having been announced.
Fans can visit his personal website for the latest news on the Grammy-nominated CMA Award-winning Country star, as well as future updates on his new music.
Hayes' eponymous debut album was released in October 2011, and has since moved 1,071,000 copies in the U.S. alone. Late last year, the album was re-released in the expanded Encore edition, which yielded the platinum hit "I Want Crazy" as well as the hit James Mraz duet "Everybody's Got Somebody But Me."
