Jason Aldean Announces 2014 "Burn It Down" Tour; Tour to hit MLB Stadiums

Last year Jason Aldean played the first-ever Country music concert at Fenway park and also played Wrigley Field. This got the singer and MLB to thinking and they parnered up this year to tour more of MLB's stadiums as part of his Burn It Down Tour 2014. Get the full details -- as now available -- here.

Early this morning Jason Aldean revealed (on ABC’s “Good Morning America”) what he and his team were stumping as a special announcement. The announcement was what many expected, it was for a concert tour in 2014. The 2014 Burn It Down tour which finds Aldean partnering with Major League Baseball to hold concerts at select venues across the country. He’ll be joined on the tour (at most stops) by friends Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr. in 2013, Jason had successful stints at Boston's historic Fenway Park -- the first Country music show at the iconic stadium -- and Wrigley Field in Chicago.

The tour is guaranteed to hit MLB stadiums in Pittsburgh, Washington, DC., Philadelphia, Cincinnati, OH and others yet to be announced. The tour kicks off in Roanoake, VA on May 1, 2014 and will hit roughly 50 venues throughout the rest of the year. Tickets to the select cities on the tour will be available at Live Nation’s Country Megaticket (www.megaticket.com) website and additional information will be available via Aldean’s own tour.

“It's no secret that I grew up dreaming of playing baseball stadiums,” said Aldean. “I thought it would be as a first baseman, but playing them as a musician is just as sweet!   We're going to crank this thing up to 11, bring along our buddies Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr and put on the biggest and best show we can.  My goal is that when the last song is over, and you're walking back to the parking lot, you're already on your phone searching to find the next show.”

In the wake of shattered attendance records and more than 1.5 million tickets sold on his last tour, Aldean’s 2014 BURN IT DOWN TOUR follows sellouts at some of the nation’s most legendary venues including University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium, Wrigley Field, a two-night stand at Fenway Park, Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl.
