The lyrics tell a story that everyone can relate to at some point in their life, be it when they were younger or perhaps now, as it tells the story of a girl whose ready to break free from a life that hasn’t taken her where she wants to go. “Dust” is a strongly-written song (Jon Jones, James Young, Kyle Jacobs and Josh Osborne) with an inviting, uplifting melody which makes sense with the story of the song.
