With Kelly Clarkson preparing for motherhood for the first time, it will be no surprise if she turns to fellow singing stars for a little advice here and there.
Well if you ask Martina McBride, she is confident that Clarkson is a born-to-be mother.
"She's really fun," McBride tells PEOPLE. "Kelly's outgoing and very direct and I feel like she'll be a fun mom. She has a really good head on her shoulders, and she's a strong person. I think that will be good for her and her child as well."
Clarkson and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, are expecting a little girl. The couple wed last fall.
