Next week (Tuesday, December 10), the 2013 American Music Awards will take place live from Las Vegas. Some of country music's hottest new stars will be hitting The Strip for the week, including the multiple nominated duo Florida Georgia Line.
While Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are excited about the actual awards show, they are equally excited about one other thing!
"I'm ready to party and gamble," laughs Kelley. "I think it's going to be a fun night. We're just excited to be back in Vegas. We've always had a good time there. We say this every time, but win or lose, we're just going to have a good time seeing our buddies and our friends, and hopefully not lose too much money! If you're nominated, you definitely want to win, but we're just excited about the year that we've had and the year that our fans have given us. Thinking back from January until now and the things that have happened, it feels as if it's been three years. It's been an incredible experience because our fans have been the ones who have been pushing this thing this far. It's so cool to see so many people passionate about one thing. We love it."
"We're just excited to be there and perform," echos Hubbard. "It's just going to be fun to be there."
