Country Chart News - The Top 30 Digital Singles - December 18, 2013: Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Scotty McCreery & Cassadee Pope News

There are a pair of new Top 10 entrants this week along with Parmalee's ascent to the Top 5 with three rising stars scoring Gold-certifications for their new albums. Take a look at the Top 30 Digital Singles chart here!

Luke Bryan Remains Dominant in Top 5 with a pair of tracks from Crash My Party album leading the way. Parmalee is the Riser of the Week with their #1 Radio hit “Carolina” up to #3 this week. David Nail and Parmalee certified Gold.

Luke Bryan has two Top 5 tracks with “Drink A Beer” handling the #1 slot while previous hit is #5 with sales of 1.364m total. Florida Georgia Line’s latest Gold-certified single “Stay,” well, stays at #2 this week while Parmalee’s breakout hit “Carolina” was certified Gold this week while the single has scored a second week at #1 on the Mediabase radio charts. At #4 this week is the Gold-eligible “Whatever She’s Got” from David Nail. It’s officially a Gold single this week with 500,000 copies sold. Finally, Luke’s last hit, the so-called ‘worst single ever’ has now sold 1.36 million to date.

Top 10 includes Cassadee Pope “Wasting All These Tears,” Cole Vosbury’s final track from “The Voice” and The Swon Brothers’ debut single. Cole Swindell “Chillin’ It” is Gold.

The #6 position holds Cassadee Pope’s Gold-certified, nearly Top 10 Radio Airplay debut single “Wasting All These Tears” while #7 holds The Voice vocalist Cole Vosbury’s take on “Shameless” selling 26k copies while Jason Aldean’s “When She Says Baby” sits at #8 with 25k tracks added to his RTD sales of 203k. Cole Swindell’s break-out hit “Chillin’ It” is Gold eligible with sales of 520k RTD. Rounding out the Top 10 with 23k sold is Sony Nashville’s newest duo, The Swon Brothers. Their debut single “Later On” will hit radio in early January and it looks as if “The Voice” alums may become yet another star from the team of mentor Blake Shelton.

Notable Singles Include Jon Pardi “Up All Night,” Frankie Ballard’s “Helluva Life, Scotty McCreery’s “See You Tonight” and Jerrod Niemann’s “Drink To That All Night.”

Jon Pardi’s break-out hit “Up All Night” continues to hover outside the Top 10 while Eli Young Band’s Gold-selling “Drunk Last Night” (the Billboard Airplay #1 this week) has now moved 541k to date. Frankie Ballard’s first Top 20 hit “Helluva Life” continues to sell pretty well with 139k sold to date (which is a number which should rise now that the single has hit the Top 20 of radio airplay). Scotty McCreery’s “See You Tonight” is Top 20 at radio this week too and that should help this 338k-selling single rise to an eventual Gold or better sales mark before he moves onto the sophomore single from the same album. Jerrod Niemann’s fast-rising single “Drink To That All Night” is our final single in this rundown this week with sales fast-approaching 100k while the song breaks up the radio charts with unique sound, once again a different-sounding single from the singer of “Lover, Lover.”

*NOTE: Due to the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays, We'll likely be unable to bring you those charts. We'll bring the charts back as soon as the holidays are over. Happy Holidays!
