Country Radio Chart Report - December 20, 2013: Eli Young Band & Parmalee Split #1 Spot on Top Two Charts

While Parmalee remains #1 on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart with "Carolina," Eli Young Band keeps the Band theme going with "Drunk Last Night" topping the Billboard Top Country Airplay chart. After topping the charts for the first time last week, Parmalee has remained at the No. 1 position on the Mediabase/ Country Aircheck chart with "Carolina" for a second consecutive week. Topping the charts on the Billboard side of things this week is the Eli Young Band with their latest single, "Drunk Last Night."
 
Co-written by all four members of the band alongside hit songwriter Rick Beato, Parmalee’s breakout hit pays homage to life on the road. “Carolina” was recently certified gold by the RIAA after surpassing 500,000 in sales.

"Drunk Last Night" marks the Eli Young Band's third chart-topper and latest gold-selling single of their career.
 
Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 this week are songs by Florida Georgia Line ("Stay"), Darius Rucker ("Radio"), Zac Brown Band ("Sweet Annie"), The Band Perry ("Don't Let Me Be Lonely"), Eric Paslay ("Friday Night"), Cole Swindell ("Chillin' It") and David Nail ("Whatever She's Got").
