The pressure is definitely on for Thomas Rhett. After coming off his three-week No. 1 single "It Goes Like This," the darling newcomer is back with a new single "Give Me Some of That."

The song is already a hit live and the new video is circulating now, giving the tune an extra boost.

However, "Give Me Some of That" has everything it takes to be a big ole hit across the board, from Thomas Rhett's vocal on the track to the song's three writers -- father Rhett Akins, Cole Swindell and Michael Carter.

"I heard this song, once again, from my dad," Thomas Rhett tells Roughstock. "He sent it to me in an email. Dad’s got my next two or three singles I think. Good for him! After coming off ‘It Goes Like This,’ I knew we needed something in the same kind of vein. We didn’t need to come out with a ballad after that. We didn’t need to come out with something that was going to shock people. We needed to come out with something that people are starting to know me for, and ‘Give Me Some of That’ is one of those songs that is very much in the same vein as ‘It Goes Like This.’ It’s very relationship based and very girl based."

But just because it's a "girl based" song, doesn't mean the male fans aren't digging it as well.

"It’s so funny because I see so many guys singing the words, more so than the girls, in my concerts here lately, which is pretty funny," laughs Thomas Rhett. "I think this song pretty much has hit written all over it. Once you have one No. 1, the next song is a very crucial song to put out, so we’re hoping this one’s a No. 1 as well. That will just keep the rollercoaster moving up for us. That’s kind of the plan right now."
