Thomas Rhett is definitely on the rise as one of country music's hottest singer-songwriters. Just a weeks after his hit "It Goes Like This" topped the country singles charts for three consecutive weeks and releasing his debut album of the same name, he has been announced as the NRA Country's Artist of the Month for November.
Thomas Rhett joins some of country music’s biggest artists in teaming up with NRA Country to celebrate his support of our brave men and women in uniform, appreciation for the great outdoors and love of family -- three things that are very near and dear to his heart.
“Traveling down the roads of our beautiful country, I’ve met lots of people," says Thomas Rhett. "People who work hard, are dedicated to their family and jobs, and who are quick to help their neighbors. I love this country, am proud to be an American, and I am NRA Country.”
As part of the November promotion, NRA Country will give away a pair of tickets to every remaining Thomas Rhett show in 2013 and at each concert, one lucky winner will be picked for an exclusive meet and greet with the singer.
Also, starting tomorrow November 14th, NRA Country is hosting a Thomas Rhett lyric contest, where fans can complete the line or finish the lyric from his smash: "Hey, Girl, you make me wanna write a song and it goes like _____". Entries will be accepted through November 22 when Thomas Rhett will personally narrow it down to 10 finalists.
