After months of rumors swirling around the relationship status of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, the famed husband and wife are finally speaking out to end the senselessness of it all.
"I don't know why 'happy' can't be a story," Hill recently told PEOPLE magazine. "[Rumors] seem to be running like crazy right now for some reason. It's perplexing."
The superstar says that she and her husband of nearly 20 years, who are doing their second stent at Las Vegas' Venetian, are "absolutely not" divorcing or talking about the topic.
"We've been married 17 years, and since the first week we were married those things were out," McGraw told the magazine. "We don't even think about it. The only time we ever think about it is [when we] worry about the kids. But they've been around it, too, so they laugh it off."
So with that much history under their belts, what exactly is the key to a happy and successful marriage? "The easy answer is just to shut up and not say anything, that’s easy," says McGraw. "But really it’s a lot of give and take and it’s a lot of no ultimatums."
