Angie Johnson to Join Air Force's Tops in Blue Tour This Holiday Season

"Swagger" singer Angie Johnson is gearing up for a new adventure this holiday season, as she has been invited to be a featured vocalist in the Air Force's premier expeditionary entertainment troupe, Tops In Blue, on a Middle Eastern morale tour over the holiday season. Rising country star Angie Johnson is gearing up for a new adventure this holiday season, as she has been invited to be a featured vocalist in the Air Force's premier expeditionary entertainment troupe, Tops In Blue, on a Middle Eastern morale tour over the holiday season. Currently a Tech Sergeant in the Air National Guard, Johnson was a member of the prestigious band early in her Air Force career.

Last week, Johnson spent some time in San Antonio rehearsing for the new two-week tour that will entertain troops at numerous military bases in the Middle East the last two weeks of December.  

"I am so stoked to be going back to the Middle East to boost the morale of deployed troops with Tops In Blue over the Christmas season," says Johnson. "I can't wait to go back to where it all began for me."

Johnson will be giving ten percent of the net proceeds from sales through her new online store to Operation Homefront, a national organization that provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of service members and wounded warriors.

Johnson's current single, "Swagger," recently hit the Top 25 on the country singles chart. The tune is can be found on her newSing for You EP.
