Country Chart News - The Top 30 Digital Singles - October 16, 2013: Chase Rice Debuts #2 W/'Ready Set Roll'; Cassadee Pope, Chris Young & Blake Shelton's latest Nearly Gold

Rising star Chase Rice is becoming his own remarkable DYI story like his buddies Florida Georgia Line with the release of "Ready Set Roll." The self-issued single debuts at #2 on this week's Country sales chart. Continue on for more about this and the rest of the Top 30 singles here!

Luke Bryan’s “That’s My Kind Of Night” remains at #1 on the charts and has sold nearly one million tracks while Chase Rice debuts at #2 with his self-released “Ready Set Roll” single.

“That’s My Kind Of Night” still holds the #1 slot on this week’s single sales chart with 68k sold but the ride at #1 will soon end but not before the single becomes a Platinum-certified track as early as next week. Sitting at #2 behind Luke Bryan is Chase Rice with his self-released “Ready Set Roll” (The EP debuted at #1 on iTunes this week). This weeks’ Billboard Country Radio chart #1 is Thomas Rhett’s “It Goes Like This,” a song which has sold 846k. Cassadee Pope is up to #4 with “Wasting All These Tears” and she has now sold 447k and is a week. Rounding out the Top 5 is Blake Shelton with “Mine Would Be You,” a song which is nearly Gold too.

Jason Aldean’s “Night Train” leads Top 10, joined by Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban’s “We Were Us” and David Nail’s “Whatever She’s Got.”

Jason Aldean’s “Night Train” slides to #6 this week with sales now nearing 650k while David Nail’s “Whatever She’s Got” seems like Country Music’s biggest hit in waiting with sales rising a 4th week in a row. The single has now sold over 212k. Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban’s “We Were Us” is already a Top 10 radio hit and it also joins the Top 10 here with sales now at 133k for the track from KU’s Fuse. Florida Georgia Line place three tracks on this list this week with breakout single “Cruise” set to surpass 6 million sold in the next week. Eli Young Band rounds out the Top 10 this week with “Drunk Last Night.” The single has sold 334k to date.

Chris Young “Aw Naw,” Parmalee “Carolina” lead notables with Florida Georgia Line’s “Stay” and Danielle Bradbery’s “The Heart of Dixie” claiming the Risers of the Week banner.

The Top 30 chart’s notables rundown gets started by the nearly Gold-certified single “Aw Naw” from Chris Young. Another single well on its way to Gold certification is Parmalee’s breakout hit “Carolina.”  Florida Georgia Line’s latest hit “Stay” jumps up the charts this week with a sales increase of 135% to enter the Top 30 for the first time. (it was #44 last week). Similarily, Lady Antebellum’s #Compass debuts in the Top 30 at #21 in its second week on the charts with a sales increase of 59%. Jake Owen’s “Days Of Gold” single has now surpassed 100k sold while Danielle Bradbery’s “The Heart of Dixie” debut single finds The Voice Season 4 champion rising 134% and back into the Top 30. Craig Campbell is at #29 with “Outta My Head,” one slot behind Hunter Hayes’ first of two tracks on this week’s Top 30, “Wanted,” a song which benefitted from an iTunes sale to score a rebound on the chart. it has sold nearly 3.3 million tracks to date.

  • The Band Perry “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely” at #34 (57k sold to date).

  • Hayden Panettiere debuts at #40 with “Trouble Is” (9k sold)

  • Cassadee Pope’s “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart” sells 8k to hit #42.

  • Zac Brown Band’s “Chicken Fried” sits at #48 with sales now over 4 Million tracks.

  • Cassadee Pope’s “One Song Away” is at #64 wih sales of 5k

  • Joe Nichols “Yeah” at #79 with sales of 4,5k.

  • Rodney Atkins sells over 4k to debut at #72 with “Doin’ It Right.”

  • Nashville’s Chris Carmack sells 4k to land at #73 with “What If I Was Willing.”

  • Dallas Smith -- Newly signed to Republic Nashville -- debuts with 4k sold for “Tippin’ Point at #78.

  • Toby Keith “Drinks After Work” (201k sold)

  • Lee Brice “Parking Lot Party” (446k sold)
