Luke Bryan is at the top of his game in the country music world, which doesn't allow him very much time to have hobbies outside of music. But one in particular -- being in the woods -- remains a must-do for Bryan in those rare occasions where he can slip away.
While in Colorado recently, Bryan did get the opportunity to go on a hunt, and came out a winner, bagging his very first Elk.
“I went to Colorado, Elk hunting, and I got my first Elk ever," Bryan beams. "I had the opportunity to do it with a bow, which was fun.”
Unfortulately for Bryan, touring season and hunting season run side-by-side, so he cherishes those days where he can find himself in the woods. "My hunting season is so busy right now," he says. "It’s just kind of whenever I can get out in the woods, I’ll try to get out there.”
And as far as what he will do with his prized Elk? “The Elk will definitely be [hung] in the barn," Bryan grins. "It won’t be in the main house, but it’ll be in the barn.”
