The parents to be held the spicy/country-themed baby shower in Franklin, Tennessee, which the dad-to-be said "was a blast. We were blessed with so many beautiful gifts. We are going to have everything we need when he arrives, and we couldn't be more grateful."
Among the many gifts received from family and friends in attendance were a diaper genie, changing pad and additional much-needed items for their upcoming arrival. Liles' mother gave the couple with some vintage outfits that her singing son wore when he was a baby, and even included photos of Liles as a baby sporting the clothes, making the moment that much more special.
Liles' duo partner, Eric Gunderson, was also in attendance with his wife Emily and their 7-month-old son Camden who was born in March. The Gundersons presented Liles and Kennedy with a framed copy of their People Country magazine baby announcement, which is on stands now. “It was a beautiful day," Liles shared of the shower. "We can't wait for him to get here!”
The parents-to-be are planning to walk down the aisle in the Spring of 2014. Love and Theft's current single "If You Ever Get Lonely" is at radio now. The duo will perform the song this week (Friday, October 25) when they play the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
