Scotty McCreery Debuts with two New Singles, Lennon & Maisy debut high while “That’s My Kind Of Night” Surpasses Platinum. “Cruise” Hits 6x Platinum, the second-best selling country single in digital sales chart history .
“That’s My Kind Of Night” still holds the #1 slot on this week’s single sales chart with 64k and that was enough to help the single surpass the Platinum certification mark with sales over 1 million tracks. Thomas Rhett’s heading to Platinum with #1 hit “It Goes Like This. Meanwhile, Cassadee Pope’s “Wasting All These Tears” should surpass Gold next week as will her friend and mentor Blake Shelton with his latest single “Mine Would Be You.” Finally, David Nail slides into the Top 5 with “Whatever She’s got, with nearly ¼ million copies of the track sold at digital retail stores.
Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban’s “We Were Us” leads Top 10 with Florida Georgia Line scoring two singles in Top 10, including one of two “Risers of the Week,” their new hit “Stay.”
Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert’s “We Were Us” continues to sell well for the superstars while Jason Aldean’s “Night Train” feels like it’ll eventually surpass the ¾ a million track sold mark and maybe perhaps Platinum by the end of the year. Florida Georgia Line’s “Stay” rises 11 spaces (36 in 3 weeks) to hit 193k sold and with it currently the duo’s fourth single from Here’s To The Good Times, it’s likely to at least follow all the other singles into Gold certification. The duo’s debut and smash breakout “Cruise” has now sold 6 million tracks to date. Eli Young Band’s “Drunk Last Night” has sold 358k to date and sits at #10 for a second week in a row!
