Tracy Lawrence Nominated For "Favorite Country Icon" for the People's Choice Awards

Tracy Lawrence has been named as a finalist for Favorite Country Music Icon in the 40th Annual People's Choice Awards. The Country star shares his feelings in this post about receiving such an honor from The People's Choice Awards.

“I am honored and excited that the People Choice Awards would think of me as an icon, says Tracy Lawrence.” “I truly share a deep passion for country music and to be a finalist in this category is very rewarding.”

Favorite Country Music Icon is among the new categories introduced for the 40th Annual People's Choice Awards. Fans can vote for Lawrence as well as Alan Jackson, Clint Black, Emmylou Harris, George Strait, Glen Campbell, Randy Travis, TimMcGraw, Toby Keith, Travis Tritt, Vince Gill or Willie Nelson starting October 22 through October 31. Lawrence recently released his first album in several years with Headlights, Taillights, and Radios. Chuck Dauphin of Roughstock and Billboard says that this is the “the album of his career” and that Lawrence’s current single “Footprints On The Moon” is “definitely a winner.”
