Eric Church Debuts at #1 with “The Outsiders”, the first time he’s debuted at #1 with a single on The SoundScan Top Country Digital Tracks.
For the first time in almost 3 months, Luke Bryan’s Platinum single “That’s My Kind Of Night” is no longer the #1 song on the Top 30 Digital Singles Sales chart. Instead, Eric Church debuts at #1 with “The Outsiders,” the lead single from his early 2014 album release. Luke is at #2 while Florida Georgia Line’s up 17 spots in 2 weeks with “Stay,” the fourth hit single from Here’s To The Good Times. Thomas Rhett’s 3 week radio airplay #1 hit has sold 921k to date and now he’s got his debut album It Goes Like This is in stores as well. David Nail remains at #5 this week with “Whatever She’s Got.” The single from his early 2014 release has sold nearly 275k and it gained 16% on this week’s sales chart.
Cassadee Pope “Wasting ALL These Tears,” Blake Shelton’s “Mine Would Be You” Gold. Parmalee Top 10 for the first time with “Carolina.”
Cassadee Pope’s “Wasting All These Tears” hits Gold this week with sales now at 511k sold. It’s her first ever Gold anything as an artist, even including her time in old bands. Blake Shelton’s “Mine Would Be You” hits Gold continuing his Gold/Platinum single sales streak while “We Were Us” from Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert marches towards 200k sold (in only 7 weeks). It’s likely going to be Gold at some point (maybe by the end of 2013). They’re likely playing the track during next week’s CMA Awards. Parmalee jumps to #9 this week with “Carolina.” They, too, look destined for Gold with their breakout hit from their forthcoming debut album on Stoney Creek Records. Finally, Eli Young Band stays at #10 for a third week with “Drunk Last Night.”They’re only 120k away from another Gold-certified single.
Cole Swindell “Chillin’ It” rising; Dixie Chicks Score Riser of the Week, Clare Bowen & Charles Esten and Jerrod Niemann “Drink To That All Night” debut. Chase Rice Still Top 20 with “Ready Set Roll.”
With sales of 357k, Cole Swindell’s “Chillin’ It” continues to make noise while The Dixie Chicks’ “Not Ready To Make Nice” was featured in a Battle Round on NBC’s “The Voice” last week and because of this, the single jumped into the Top 20 (it’s 154 weeks old on this chart) and the song has now sold 1.705 million copies. Chris Young should hit Gold next week with “Aw Naw” while Chase Rice’s “Ready Set Roll” single sold another 20k to land the singer 81k in just 3 weeks on this chart. He also announced a new label deal/partnership with Thirty Tigers and SonyRed. Clare Bowen and Charles Esten debut with “This Town,” a track from ABC’s “Nashville” while Jerrod Niemann debuts at #26 with the 4 week old “Drink To That All Night,” showing early signs that the single is about to become one of the singer’s biggest hits of his career, after “Lover Lover.”
