Big Kenny, known as one-half of country duo Big & Rich, has unveiled his new musical brainchild, Electro Shine. The musical project brings together an eclectic fusion of beats, instrumentation and feel-good lyrics, all of which can be heard in the first two remix releases on Glotown Records: “Party Like Cowboyz” and “Born Again” from Big & Rich's latest release, Hillbilly Jedi.

"It's so much fun when you can sing and dance at the same time ... kaboom, kaboom, kaboom!" Big Kenny tells Roughstock in our exclusive chat with him about the project. "Feel the power from the Electro Shine!"

Big Kenny was inspired to start Electro Shine after seeing the success endured with his duo partner John Rich with their dance remix of "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)." While fans can purchase the two new tunes, which features Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora on "Born Again," Big Kenny continues to chip away at other collaborations with hopes to have a full-length Electro Shine album put together by the end of the year.

"We're working on more songs all the time," notes Big Kenny. "We'll just continue to put stuff out as we bring in more collaborators. I've got a list of collaborators waiting to work together right now. We've been trying to find a date to bring in Connor Cruise -- Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's son. He's like 18 or 19, and he's a DJ now. We want to bring him here and do a song with him. We might even bring in a different vocalist on that. It's all about making the greatest music you can. When we're roughing them out, I'm singing on them until we get somebody else and we get the melodies down."

Next on the horizon is a tune that has Big Kenny paired up with Bob Marley's son, Ky-Mani. The song's accompanying video was recently shot in Jamaica's Trench Town.

"We're pretty excited about that," says Big Kenny. "We've done several more songs with Ky-Mani that we might put together in a bundle."
