Randy Houser - “Goodnight Kiss” (Stoney Creek Records):
Nice tempo song from one of the format’s most distinctive stylists.
Randy Travis - “Tonight I’m Playing Possum” (Warner Bros. Nashville):
One legend salutes his biggest influence. Incredible.
Zac Brown Band - “Sweet Annie” (Atlantic/Southern Ground):
Another hit to be from arguably the most consistent act in the business. Harmony is spellbinding.
Colby Dee - “He Don’t Know” (Independent):
Fresh beat, melodious sound, and a ton of infectious personality. One to watch.

Jennifer Nettles - “That Girl” (Mercury Nashville):
A new chapter in Nettles’ career, this one has one of those melodies you don’t forget, and her vocal will leave you wanting more. Love it!
Lonestar - “Party All Day” (4 Star):
The title fittingly describes it, and the band sounds like they are having fun – but isn’t it too late to be launching a summer song?
Amercian Young - “Love Is War” (Curb):
Harmonies are sublime and sweet, as the instrumentation. This is how it’s done!
Brandon Rhyder - “Haggard” (Thirty Tigers):
Murky and mysterious sound that will remind you of one of those songs you hear at 3am that you just can’t get out of your head. A tune that is not exactly what you think it’s going to be, but it hits the spot!
Austin Webb - “Slip On By” (Streamsound):
Maybe the pick of the litter this week. Austin’s vocal is front and center, and showcases his blues side to the max. Song is thought provoking, as well!
Maggie Sajak - “Wild Boy” (GMV):
While the song has been written before, there is something about Maggie’s vocals. She’s got a personality all her own!
