Country legend Dolly Parton has announced plans to expand her Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, theme park Dollywood, confirming the ten-year $300 million project in an exclusive Today Show interview that aired Wednesday morning.

“It's gonna be a big deal,” Parton told Today's Willie Geist. “And I'm so excited…this has been a dream from the very beginning. It's got a Southern flair, but it's done very classy.”

Plans include a new "family" roller coaster to open in 2014 and a hotel resort for 2015.  The new Dollywood attractions are expected to create thousands of jobs in the Pigeon Forge area.

Even though Dolly Parton has sold over 100 million records and become one of Country music's most respected icons, she makes it clear that she doesn't plan to rest on her laurels any time soon. “I feel like I'm just startin',” she says. “I'm still trying to grow and come up with new dreams every day and make 'em come true."
