Justin Moore does his part in singing about being from "Small Town U.S.A." in Arkansas, and now as he readies the release of his third studio album, Off the Beaten Path, he is bringing his Arkansas roots into the spotlight once again.
Moore will perform a free public concert on Friday, September 13 at the University of Arkansas, which will be sponsored by the Razorback Athletics as part of the Family Weekend that amps up the excitement for the first home game for the football team when they face off against Southern Mississippi the following day (Saturday, September 14). The show starts at7:00PM and will be held in parking lot 56 on campus. As a Razorback fan himself, Moore will also stick around the following day to see his team take the field.
“I'm thrilled to marry two things that I love together: country music and the Arkansas Razorbacks,” says Moore. “There is no better place for me to play on a Friday night than my home state of Arkansas and no better place to be on a Saturday than up on the hill. The fact that we can do both at the same time, is very cool, not to mention it coincides with the album coming out.”
Moore and the Razorback Athletics are also teaming to offer custom merchandise to go along with the release of Off the Beaten Path, which will hit stores on Tuesday, September 17. An exclusive package (limited edition CD, official Razorback branded Justin Moore t-shirt) will also be available.
