Brett Eldredge Celebrates Chart-Topping "Don't Ya" By Skydiving

Rather than throwing a traditional industry party in Nashville to celebrate his first No. 1 hit "Don't Ya," Brett Eldredge took a different approach ... a much different approach. Continue here to find out more about Brett Eldredge's special celebration.

Rather than throwing a traditional industry party in Nashville to celebrate his first No. 1 hit "Don't Ya," Brett Eldredge took a different approach ... a much different approach.

Eldredge celebrated by jumping out of an airplane on Tuesday afternoon (August 27) at Skydive Tullahoma in Tullahoma, TN. The singer was joined by family members, his management team, record label staff, TV and radio personality Storme Warren, USA Today’s Brian Mansfield (who tweeted some photos of the event), AXS Live’s Ashley Eicher and other lucky jumpers.

The jump was the first skydiving experience for Eldredge, who has made it known in the past that he has a fear of heights. Leading up to the big day, Eldredge took to his Twitter page to share his feelings. "I don't think it's gonna set in how real it is that jumpin out of a plane tomorrow till I am staring at the ground from space!" he wrote on Monday afternoon.

Prior to getting onto the plane, Eldredge sent out one more tweet: "I'm kinda ready to be scared to death, it'll be just a little reminder of how much I love this life!"

Eldredge did in fact make it safely to the ground on Tuesday!

Don’t Ya” can be found on Eldredge’s first studio album, Bring You Back, which was released August 6.
