Country Album Chart News: The Week of July 3, 2013: Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes, Danielle Bradbery, Jason Aldean

Florida Georgia Line Back at #1 on Roughstock’s Top 10 Country Album Sales Chart this week while Last week’s #1, Hunter Hayes slides down to #3.

For just the second week in it’s 29 week history on the charts, Florida Georgia Line’s debut album Here’s To The Good Times leads the Roughstock Top 10 Country Albums sales chart with 31k fans plucking a copy of the album which features “Cruise,” “Get Your Shine On” and “Round Here.” Sitting at #2 is Blake Shelton with his Based On A True Story... album. At #3 is Hunter Hayes with Hunter Hayes (Encore). The album which features “Storm Warning,” “I Want Crazy,” “Wanted” and “Somebody’s Heartbreak.” the #4 album in the Country music world is Darius Rucker with True Believers (19k sold this week) and at #5 is the three-week-old compilation Now Country 6. that album has sold 54k in that time span.

Lady Antebellum, George Strait lead the #5-#10 slots on this week chart with Golden and Love Is Everything, respectively.

Golden has now sold 344k copies in the weeks since being released by Lady Antebellum while George Strait’s 55th album, Love Is Everything, has now sold 255k in seven weeks on the charts. Taylor Swift’s RED returns to the Top 10 this week with sales of 8k bringing her latest album to over 3.72m sold. Kenny Chesney’s Life On A Rock sits at #9 with sales now surpassing the 300k mark in 9 weeks on this chart. Meanwhile, The Band Perry rounds out the Top 10 with Pioneer. The family band has now sold 366k of their sophomore album in 13 weeks on the charts with hits “DONE.” and “Better Dig Two” featured on the recording.

Notable albums this week include the latest from Kacey Musgraves, Danielle Bradbery and Lee Brice among others.

One of the few Country albums with positive sales momentum this week is Kacey Musgraves with one of the year’s best releases to date. Same Trailer Different Park has now moved 165k since being released earlier this year. The album features “Merry Go ‘Round” and “Blowin’ Smoke.” Little Big Town’s Tornado is nearly Platinum with sales at 924 while Jason Aldean’s Night Train sits at over 1.3 million sold. Last week’s Top 10 debut Complete Season 4 from The Voice winner Danielle Bradbery slides out of the Top 10 and has now been picked up by 22k fans. Finally, Lee Brice’s Hard 2 Love rounds out our rundown and is nearly Gold with sales at 421k.
