Fans of Kenny Chesney can catch the superstar performing his brand new single, “When I See This Bar,” on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno in its final weeks, airing on July 22. Chesney is no stranger to the show or hanging out with Leno who has had the singer on his program many times throughout the existence of the show.

“There are some things that just are,” Chesney says. “The friendships you make along the way, the places you’ve been… and even though they change, they remain the same in your mind. That is very much what ‘When I See This Bar’ is all about, and I think for a whole lot of people, that’s what Jay Leno and ‘The Tonight Show’ have meant, too.”

This month, Chesney's No Shoes Nation Tour will head to the west coast for a string of shows, before wrapping up in August with two back-to-back performances at Boston's Gillette Stadium on August 23-24.  “It’s amazing how bringing these songs out to the fans has been such an emotional experience this year,” says Chesney. “Maybe releasing an album like Life On A Rock brings everything closer to the surface, but I just know – the fans have really brought it this year, so much heart and so much passion. You can hear it when they sing along and you can feel it when we hit the stage.”
