Florida Georgia Line Sales Up, stay at #1 on Roughstock’s Top 10 Country Album Sales Chart this week while the lone new album Average Joes Entertainment’s Mud Digger 4 debuts at #9.
With a sales increase of 3%, Florida Georgia Line returns to the SoundScan Top 200 Albums chart’s Top 5 with Here’s To The Good Times, a mark which is good enough to hold onto this week’s #1 slot on our Top 10 Country Album Chart rundown. Blake Shelton retains the #2 slot while Darius Rucker swaps spots with Hunter Hayes this week with the #3 and #4 slots with their latest albums True Believers and Hunter Hayes (ENCORE!), respectively. Finally, the sixth Now That’s What I Call Country compilation is #5 for the second-consecutive week.
Lady Antebellum, George Strait lead the #6-#10 slots on this week chart with Golden and Love Is Everything, respectively. Mud Digger 4 debuts in Top 10, Highest position for the series yet.
The second half of this week’s Roughstock Top 10 Country Albums chart features Lady Antebellum’s Golden at #6, with Taylor Swift’s nearly 4 million selling album RED at #7. at #8 is the latest Mud Digger compilation from Average Joes Entertainment. Mud Digger 4 features new tracks from LoCash Cowboys, JJ Lawhorn, Colt Ford, The Lacs and Lenny Cooper among others. at #9 on this weeks’ chart is George Strait with his latest album -- his 55th -- Love Is Everything. Finally, The Top 10 is rounded out by Kenny Chesney’s Life On A Rock. The album, which features buzzworthy single “When I See This Bar,” has now sold 309,000 copies in 10 weeks.
Notable albums include Jason Aldean’s “Night Train,” The “O Brother Where Art Thou?” Compilation and Pistol Annie’s “Annie Up.”
The Pistol Annies may be experiencing some ‘growing pains’ in the trio’s partnership but that hasn’t stopped fans from wanting to own a copy of the their sophomore album Annie Up. The album has now sold nearly 200k copies in 9 weeks on the charts. Jason Aldean experiences a 12% sales incerase with “Night Train.” The album’s title track’s success at radio is certainly helping the Platinum-plus selling album reach more fans while Tim McGraw’s Two Lanes Of Freedom has a nice 4% sales increase this week with sales approaching 400k sold. The album is followed on our rundown this week by the soundtrack for O Brother Where Art Thou?. The Grammy-winning soundtrack (which features “I Am A Man of Constant Sorrow”) experienced a 271% sales increase to bring sales to 7.8m sold (Which is likely more copies than the actual movie has ever sold on DVD or Blu-ray).
