Last week (July 22), Gary Allan underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. The injury and recovery process didn't keep the singer down for long, as he returned to the spotlight this past weekend in a performance hailed as an intimate, ripped-from-his-life set.

Prior to heading back out on the road, Allan took a minute to thank his fans and supporters for all the prayers during his recovery.

"I wanted to thank all of you for the well wishes and let you know I'm feeling great," Allan Gary said following his surgery. "I may be in a knee brace the next time you see me on the stage, but I’m looking forward to rocking!"

Allan's latest single from his Set You Free album is "Pieces," which he co-wrote with Sarah Buxton and Odie Blackmon.
