Florida Georgia Line Headlines Craig Wiseman's 'Stars for Second Harvest Benefit Concert' at Ryman During CMA Music Festival

A year ago Florida Georgia Line were being showcased for the first time at Craig Wiseman's "Stars For Second Harvest" Benefit concert and this year they headlined the show. Read on to learn more about the show from Craig and the duo and what it means to them, in its nineth year at The Ryman.

The night offered fans in attendance a little bit of everything, including a "writers round" featuring Wiseman, Chris Tompkins (Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away," Luke Bryan's "Drunk on You" and "Before He Cheats"), Rhett Akins (Blake Shelton's "Boys 'Round Here," "Honey Bee" and "All About Tonight," Luke Bryan's "I Don't Want This Night to End" and Rodney Atkins' "Take a Back Road") and Sarah Buxton (Keith Urban's "Stupid Boy" and "Put You In a Song," as well as songs in her own write), as well as comedian Ralphie May.

The music didn't just stop with the songwriters, however. Fans were also entertained by the powerful voice of Ronnie Dunn, followed by Florida Georgia Line who blew the roof off the place with their performance that included recent chart-topping hit "Get Your Shine On," and of course the tune that started it all, "Cruise," which included a very special guest joining them on the stage ... Nelly!

"This has been another successful year," Wiseman beamed to Roughstock backstage at the Ryman. "We broke FGL to the fans at last year's event ... Nobody knew who they were, and now, they are the reason we've sold all these tickets!

Earlier in the day, FGL's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard surprised Wiseman and Second Harvest with a check in the amount of $6,500 after making a donation to the Hard Rock Cafe.

"We started this day with a $6,500 check from the guys," said the hit songwriter. "Last year we were kind of carrying them by having them on the show, and this year, they are like our biggest doners ... How cool is that? It's like karma!"
