Kelly Clarkson Set To Release "Tie It Up" To Country Radio

Kelly Clarkson showcased a brand new single during the 2013 CMA Festival's nightly performances while also sharing the official single Cover art to fans via Twitter. Read on to find out more about the single (and to see the single cover art) here.

Because of "Mr. Know It All" and "Don't You Wanna Stay," Clarkson was a surprise 2012 CMA Award nominee in the female vocalist category (which was lost to Miranda Lambert) so with all of her recent CMA Success, it was only a matter of time before the Platinum-selling pop star's Country crossover took more of a turn.

The turn is, no doubt, eased by her acceptance by the Country Music industry and fans and also by her friendships with Reba, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert (to name a few). The Original American Idol winner and star is set to marry manager Brandon Blackstock (Reba's step-son) soon. RCA Nashville has worked her past few singles to radio with Top 20 success but by all accounts, "Tie Me Up" feels like her proper solo single so we'll all have to wait and see how Country Radio reacts to the single.
