Carrie Underwood Joins Toby Keith's All-Star Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert

  Due to a prior committment with the Grand Ole Opry on July 6, Carrie Underwood cannot be at Toby Keith's Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert But that's not going to stop the star from appearing on the bill! Read on here to find out how Carrie's going to help out her home state!

Carrie Underwood may not be able to physically be at Toby Keith's Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert next week, but she will be making a special appearance via satellite from the stage of the Grand Ole Opry on July 6.

In addition to Keith and Underwood, performers will include Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Willie Nelson, Sammy Hagar, Ronnie Dunn, Mel Tillis and John Anderson. More artists are expected to be announced in the coming days. In addition to sponsoring the relief concert, Walmart and the Walmart Foundation have committed $1 million to Oklahoma tornado relief. Proceeds raised through concert tickets and sponsorship donations  will benefit the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund to aid recovery efforts.

The twister relief show happens Saturday, July 6 at the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, OK. Doors open at 1:30pm with the show starting at 3pm. Tickets went on sale and have already sold out. Additional tickets may be come available closer to the date of the event.
