Hats off to Clara Henningsen of family trio The Henningsens who not only is planning a major tour this summer, but also recently pulled off a wedding! Clara walked down the aisle Saturday (May 5) with fiancé Jacob Calaway in a beautiful ceremony on her family farm in Illinois.
"It was really cool because I got married on our family farm, and it’s such a special thing because," notes Clara. "Like the Miranda Lambert song says, that’s pretty much the house that built me, and where I was raised and where I grew up. It’s really where I wanted to get married.
The wedding party consisted of a total of 14 people, not including the bride and the groom. And like their music, Clara kept it all in the family!
"All my sisters were in the wedding, and Jacob’s brother and all my cousins and best friends I grew up with were also in the wedding," gushes Clara. " It was very special."
Now that the wedding has been a success, Clara is able to focus on her forthcoming tour with her fellow bandmates -- father Brian and brother Aaron. Starting May 9, the band will hit the road with Brad Paisley in his Beat This Summer Tour.
The Henningsens' debut single, "American Beautiful," is Top 20 and rising. The tune was penned by the trio and Brett Beavers.
