In addition, the roster of confirmed award presenters includes Shania Twain, Jennifer Nettles, Florida Georgia Line, and Hayden Panetierre of the Country Music-oriented TV drama Nashville (which ABC recently picked up for a second season).
The finalists are determined by key fan interactions with music, including album and digital singles sales, radio airplay, touring, streaming and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, VEVO, Spotify and other popular online music outlets. These measurements were tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Entertainment and Next Big Sound.
The 2013 Billboard Music Awards will air live from Las Vegas May 19 on ABC. Saturday Night Live alum Tracy Morgan is set to host, and pop music icons Price and Madonna will make special appearances. Visit http://www.billboard.com/bbma for more information.
