Country Radio Chart Report: Tuesday May 27, 2013: Darius Rucker #1 With "Wagon Wheel" For Another Week

Country Music's #1 single this week is Darius Rucker's "Wagon Wheel," giving the Capitol Nashville star his sixth Number One hit and first since 2010's "This." Read on here to learn more about his dual chart success (Number One on both Billboard and Mediabase charts).

Darius Rucker is enjoying life at No. 1 for the second consecutive week on the Billboard charts with his new single, "Wagon Wheel." The tune also moves up a notch on Mediabase, where he is also at the top on the elite industry chart.

"Wagon Wheel" is the second single from Rucker's True Belivers album, which also spawned the title track that was a Top 30 hit for the singer earlier this year. True Believers landed in stores last week (May 21) and has already been racking up the sales. Check back in with Roughstock tomorrow (Wednesday, May 29) to see where True Believers comes in on the Top Country Albums chart.

Rucker's latest chart-topping hit brings his career total to six, which also includes five other tunes -- "Don't Think I Don't Think About It," "It Won't Be Like This For Long," "Alright," "This" and "Come Back Song."
