Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise" Breaks 51 year-old Billboard Chart Record

With "Cruise," Florida Georgia Line have begun to enter lofty achievements with this week's #1 placement on the Billboard "Hot Country Songs" chart. The song has now spent 12 weeks there, making them the record-holder for longest run at the top. Read on here for more info on this amazing feat.

“Cruise” has also had the most weeks at #1 for any country act since Buck Owens spent sixteen weeks at the top in 1963-64 with “Love’s Gonna Live Here."

The success of "Cruise" has been bolstered by its release in two different versions - the original Country radio mix, and a remix featuring Hip Hop superstar Nelly, which returned the song to the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 at #8 after the finish of its initial Hot 100 chart run.
