Craig Campbell To Host First Annual Celebrity Cornhole Challenge For Colon Cancer Research

Craig Campbell is gathering some of his famous singing pals on Tuesday, June 4 to join him during his 1st Annual Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge to be held during the 2013 CMA Music Festival in Nashville. 

Jerrod Niemann, LoCash Cowboys, Greg Bates, Gloriana, Chase Rice, Baylou, Love and Theft, Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas, Rachel Bradshaw, THE FARM, Whitney Duncan and GAC's Suzanne Alexander are are scheduled to participate in what is sure to be one of the festivals most entertaining events. Fun aside, the cornhole challenge will benefit a great cause -- T.J. Martell Colon Cancer Research.

"This tournament will benefit colon cancer awareness and research which I am very passionate about," says Campbell. "My father passed away at the age of 36 with colon cancer, and what better event to have benefiting colon cancer than a 'Cornhole' tournament! Let's have fun!"

The 1st Annual Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge will take place at 3rd Avenue North and Deaderick Street in downtown Nashville. Gates will open at 2:00PM local time with the event beginning around 3:00PM. The winning team will be presented with their title following the game, then some of the artists will join Campbell in a special performance to bring the event to an end. Tickets to the tournament will be $10, with proceeds going directly to the cause.
