Country Radio Chart Report: Tuesday April 9, 2013 - Lee Brice's "I Drive Your Truck" Is Number One

After the past couple of weeks where ballads from Blake Shelton ("Sure Be Cool If You Did") and Hunter Hayes ("Somebody's Heartbreak") hit the Pole Position of the Country Radio Charts, Lee Brice scores his third consecutive No. 1 with the emotional "I Drive Your Truck." The hit song is Brice’s third single off his soon to be Gold-selling sophomore album, Hard 2 Love on Curb Records, and has resonated with fans since first hitting the airwaves. “I was immediately drawn to this song, so I’m not surprised that fans have connected to it like they have,” says Brice.

“Since we put it out as a single, fans from across the country have shared their own ‘truck’ stories through just about any way they can – calling into the radio, on tour at meet and greet, Twitter, Facebook, emails and texts. I’m just glad I got to be a part of this special song and want to thank Country Radio for helping me share it.”

"I Drive Your Truck" follows on the heels of Brice's previous two No. 1 hits "A Woman Like You" and "Hard to Love." Lee will send the summer concert anthem "Parking Lot Party" to radio in the coming weeks as the fourth single from Hard 2 Love.

The Other songs in the Top 10 this week include Lady Antebellum with Golden single "Downtown" at #2, Thompson Square with Just Feels Good single "If I Didn't Have You" at #3, Chris Young with Neon's final single "I Can Take It From There" at #4 and last week's #1, Hunter Hayes's "Somebody's Heartbreak (From Hunter Hayes at #5.

Miranda Lambert's at #6 with Four The Record's "Mama's Broken Heart," her husband and fellow ACM Award winner Blake Shelton's at #7 with "Sure Be Cool If You Did" while Kenny Chesney's at #8 with "Pirate Flag" and Florida Georgia Line's at #9 with "Get Your Shine On." Darius Rucker closes out the Top 10 with his #1 digital single "Wagon Wheel." "Wagon Wheel" is from next month's True Believers.
