Dancing With The Stars Recap - Week 5

Kellie Pickler was once again aces last night as she and dancing partner Derek Hough were all fireworks after performing the Foxtrot last night. Read on here to see the recap of the program from our in-house DWTS expert Ben Foster!

Kellie Pickler and partner Derek Hough performed a foxtrot for Week 5 on ABC's Dancing With The Stars, which marked the halfway point of the ten-week long season of competition.  The stars faced a special "Side-by-Side" challenge this week, in which each couple performed simultaneously with a pair of professional dancers to show how each celebrity compared to a professional dancer.

Pickler and Hough performed a foxtrot to the classic pop song "It Had to Be You" alongside professional dancers Henry Byalikov and Anna Trebunskaya.  Pickler received a nine from each judge, giving her a total of 27 out of 30 - her highest score to date, and the second highest score of the night.  Disney actress Zendaya received the highest score of the night, taking a season high of 29 out of 30 judges' points for her Argentine tango, and receiving the first perfect tens of the season.

Kellie Pickler and Zendaya are definitely shaping up to be the ones to beat this season, as they each appear to be a shoo-in for the final round, though gymast Aly Raisman could wind up being a potential spoiler.  If Kellie, Zendaya, and Aly keep up their momentum, Dancing With The Stars may end up having its second consecutive three-woman finale.

Tune into the Dancing With The Stars results show tonight at 9:00 p.m. Eastern/ 8:00 Central to see who gets sent home in this week's elimination.
