Legendary Country Music singer-songwriter Guy Clark is set to release his first new album in four years, My Favorite Picture Of You, July 23 on Dualtone Records.

The album's title track was written for Clark's late wife Susanna, a successful songwriter in her own right whose hits include EmmylouHarris' "Easy From Now On" and Kathy Mattea's "Come From The Heart."  Susanna Clark passed away in June 2012.  The album's cover artwork features Guy Clark displaying a photo of Susan taken in the 1970s.  According to Clark, Susanna walked in and found he and friend, the late Townes Van Zandt drunk, again. She stormed out of the house, which is when the Polaroid was taken.  Other songs on the album include "Cornmeal Waltz," "Heroes," and "Hell Bent On a Heartache."

In 2004, Guy Clark was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He received the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005, and in 2013, he received the Academy of Country Music’s Poet’s Award, along with Hank Williams.  He has been a mentor to artists such as Steve Earle and Rodney Crowell and his songs have been covered by artists such as Johnny Cash, Brad Paisley, David Allen Coe, Ricky Skaggs, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Jimmy Buffet, Asleep At The Wheel and many others.
