The album's story echoes that of his 1967 breakthrough, Gentle On My Mind. Both albums were recorded with the intention of never be released as an album, from sessions that occurred simply because the songs yearned to be sung. They were created simply on the side during the Ghost On The Canvassessions which was tracks written by modern stars Jacob Dylan, Paul Westerberg, Billy Corgan, Teddy Thompson and more. IT was after the recording of that album that Glen was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and embarked on his final "The Glen Campbell Goodbye Tour."
These new recordings are powerful and intimate, new takes by a singer with a still strong voice and the time to share them, just like he did when he recorded Gentle On My Mind back in 1967.
