When Lady Antebellum hits the top of the country singles charts, chances are they will set up camp for multiple weeks. That's just what they have done this week after "Downtown" peaked at No. 1 last week.

The tune has made such an impact at country radio since its release, and has also been a huge hit at iTunes as far as digit downloads are concerned. To date, "Downtown" has sold over 500,000 copies, making the song a gold-selling single. As reported last week, "Downtown" is the trio's seventh chart-topping hit of their career.

Trailing behind Lady A on the charts, waiting for their shot at No. 1, are songs from Thompson Square ("If I Didn't Have You"), Chris Young ("I Can Take It From There"), Miranda Lambert ("Mama's Broken Heart"), Florida Georgia Line ("Get Your Shine On"), Kenny Chesney ("Pirate Flag"), Darius Rucker ("Wagon Wheel") and George Strait ("Give It All We Got Tonight"), among others.
