Husband/wife duo Thompson Square have done it again. This week they top both the Billboard and Mediabase / Country Aircheck country singles chart for the second time in their career with their latest hit, "If I Didn't Have You."

The tune, which the duo co-wrote with Jason Sellers and Paul Jenkins, was inspired by the passing of Shawna Thompson's father last year and the ever-lasting love shared with his wife/the singer's mother. Coincidentally, the tune peaked at the top of the charts on a very significant day ... what would've been Shawna's daddy's birthday.

“Writing your first number one is an amazing goal to reach," says Shawna. "Writing your first number one song inspired by the loss of your Dad and having it go number one on his birthday is a gift straight from heaven. We want to thank all of our fans and country radio for making this possible.”

"If I Didn't Have You" is the lead single from Thompson Square's sophomore album, Just Feels Good, which hit stores in March. The tune has already sold nearly 600,000 copies to date.

Coming in directly behind Thompson Square on the charts this week at No. 2 is Florida Georgia Line with their smash "Get Your Shine On," followed by Miranda Lambert at No. 3 with "Mama's Broken Heart," Kenny Chesney at No. 5 with "Pirate Flag," Darius Rucker at No. 6 with "Wagon Wheel," Tim McGraw's duet with Taylor Swift (featuring Keith Urban on guitar) at No. 7 with "Highway Don't Care," George Strait at No. 8 with "Give It All We Got Tonight," Chris Young at No. 9 with "I Can Take It From There" and Brad Paisley and Eric Church splitting the No. 10 slot on Billboard (Paisley with "Beat This Summer") and Mediabase (Church with "Like Jesus Does").
